First Post

As I sit here, 32 days away from my departure to China, I feel as though I should write down something to serve as an introduction to my travels. As you can tell, I'm not good at starting things. I could start by explaining where I'll be in China, how I'll be teaching, and who, but the simple truth is that I don't know any of that information. All I know is that I'll be flying into Beijing no later than July 4th (which is a pretty poorly picked day), and will be touring around China teaching English summer camps until the fall semester begins at a location to be determined.  This is probably something that should worry me, but I've remained largely unfazed by the gigantic question marks in my future in a country where I do not speak the language. I am not exactly sure why. Did I mention that I've never lived outside of central Minnesota? This should be an interesting experience.
